Drowning out my thoughts with the sound of Music. As I sitt here in the land of pain and sorrow that is caused by the religious, judgemental, closed minded, authority, and anything along those lines. I sit here screaming on the inside. Wanting to stand up and ask what makes them so “perfect” that they get the right to judge me and people like me? What gives them the power and/or right to make us the black sheep? We are trying to embrace the thought of freedom and they want to cause us pain? Yet most of us smile and walk away the pain is still there. These thoughts, pain, and pressure could lead to self harm, conflicting thoughts, and even suicide. I just don’t understand what gives them the right to make us forget who we are and what we want? The United States prides itself on how people are unique or different we are allowed to be yet, if we are not religious, pretty, skinny, straight, or anything they want . They cast of us aside, punish us, give us hell, or even throw us in jail. I thought the golden rule was do unto others what they do to you? How does that change if you are black, white, Latin, skinny, fat, ugly, scarred, gay, bi, or anything in between? We are equal in our own way. Yet we are me to believe that we are nothing. When will the world open up its mind? When will we be able to be ourselves and have less sadness. Everyone deserves there happily ever after. Yet people are trying to take away those rights? Why is it people believe that it’s hate and war we need more of? Everybody looks at people that are like me and thinks oh she is a bad person. But guess what?! Most of the time we are the kindest, awesome, talented, people you’ll ever meet. My army of black sheep. Grab those people that are alone. Group up and show them we are better than them all. I don’t care if you think you’ll never talk to them. Give them a shot you’ll see how great they are no one should be alone. They say that just one can make a difference. That is true to a point. A single act of kindness could make a difference. Learn to love and stop the hate. Most of those people you walk past with out a second glance. I am speaking for and to anyone who can relate. Just stay strong it gets better. I promise we are not living in a world where the evil wins.
